A.D. Players' educational touring unit, A.D. Players on Tour, will present a two-person version of the classic Narnia story, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe as part of their Light Up The Lot Series.
An old house in rural England becomes the home base for four children who wander into an incredible country through an old wardrobe and help the country return to summer. In the incredible Narnia, there are duels, chases, and narrow escapes - and ultimately, the triumph of good over evil. This story of love, courage, faith, and sacrifice is a true celebration of life. This participatory theatrical adaptation engages the imagination and encourages students to read this entire fantastical series of books.
A.D. Players at The George has transformed their parking lot into a family-friendly, safely distanced outdoor venue. They have built a stage outside and divided the lot into safely distanced boxes to accommodate groupings of 2 to 4 people. Guests will need to bring their own favorite lawn or camping chairs.
Food trucks will be on the lot on the evenings of December 14 and 16. Guests can choose from their selection of snacks and beverages on sale, or 'BYOB' their own snacks to enjoy during the show. Face coverings will be required but only when outside of the reserved seating zone.
