Ad Deum Dance Company presents This Dance Is Not My Own

Ad Deum Dance Company's This Dance Is Not My Own is an exciting fusion of dance styles and an eclectic mix of choreographic craft by a host of choreographers. Steve Rooks, former 10-year Martha Graham veteran, will premiere his new work, Angels, an intense and exhilarating gaze into the realm of the heavens and the spiritual dynamics of celestial flames of fire known as both messengers and warriors.

Daniel Cossette, professional mime artist turned Ad Deum dancer, has fashioned a moving physical theater allegory called Green Man, a fantastical journey of an individual's soul searching that seeks true life within a world of entanglements. Ryan Corriston, former New York-based Doug Varrone dancer, puzzles the dancers with his Questions for Mary and calls for the pondering pulses of their response in a gracious groove of urban beat meets sacred song.

Artistic director Randall Flinn adds the spice with his tumultuous Time Out, which cascades with mysterious theatricality and deeply emotive bliss.
