Disturbing the Peace is a city-wide competition for youth poets to gain stage experience, make lasting friendships, and increase self-confidence. The event will feature some of the best creative talent in the Houston youth poetry community, finding their true voice through poetry. Not only just a competition, the youth showcase will highlight several group variety acts fusing the arts of poetry and theater to top a stellar night of original and memorable performances.
