Presented by Houston-based luxury food importer and distributor DR Delicacy as a way to celebrate one of the world’s oldest and most precious delicacies, the 2020 Truffle Masters event invites 26 of the city’s most recognized chefs to compete for the top dish all in an effort to raise funds for Second Servings of Houston.
Before guests arrive, a carefully selected panel of judges will sample each dish in order to choose the night’s top offering. Judging will happen in two stages: in round one, Houston’s elite culinary journalists, authors, TV personalities and more will select their top eight dishes of the night; in round two, Houston influencers and celebrities will make the final decision based on the previously chosen eight dishes, narrowing them down to their selection of the single best dish of the 2020 event.
From here, judges will join the festivities where Houston food lovers, luxury diners, influencers, and industry professionals will sip hand-made cocktails, sensational wines, shop the silent auction, and sample their way through each beautifully crafted truffle dish.
