Pin Oak Charity Horse Show hosts its 68th annual show, March 20 through March 30, at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center. Most show events begin each day by or before 8 a.m. Admission is free for most Pin Oak Charity Horse Show competitions.
Established in 1945 by J.S. Abercrombie, Pin Oak Charity Horse Show is a nonprofit and one of the leading horse shows in the nation. The 2012 show attracted approximately 1,200 riders and 2,000 horses. Proceeds from supporters benefit Texas Children's Hospital, Houston's Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms, and Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance.
