The Menil Collection is kicking off the second decade of the millennium by dedicating new space to an installation of 20th-century art dating from 1945.
Museum Director Josef Helfenstein and former curator of contemporary art Franklin Sirmans (now with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art) will discuss the installation Feb. 5.
Featured artists include Robert Gober, Jasper Johns, Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol, Barnett Newman, David Novros, Brice Marden, Robert Mangold and Robert Rauschenberg,
