Free Press Summer Festival has delivered a highly diverse lineup in celebration of the festival's ninth edition, with headliners Lorde, Flume, G-Eazy, Cage The Elephant, Solange, and The Shins leading the pack. Over 55 artists will perform on four stages, including Tove Lo, Carnage, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, Jon Bellion, Jauz, Grouplove, Milky Chance, DVBBS, Portugal. The Man, Big K.R.I.T., Charli XCX, The Strumbellas, and many more. Solange is one of many Houston artists representing their hometown, with Khruangbin, Rose Ette, Night Drive, Kay Weathers, MIEARS and others also on the bill.

Fans can expect an elevated dining experience in the festival food court, now called Houston Eats. Seth Siegel-Gardner and Terrence Gallivan, chefs and co-owners of The Pass and Provisions, have signed on as chef curators to hand select high-quality food vendors that best represent the Houston culinary scene.

Also new in 2017 is the implementation of the Rock & Recycle Program, where fans can earn free FPSF swag just by helping to keep Eleanor Tinsley Park clean, as well as locker rentals to store belongings while enjoying the show, and a new partnership with FanZone, where patrons can catch an official shuttle, carpool with fans in their area, join a rideshare, and more.
