The Houston Dragon Boat Festival is a colorful affair where teams engage in a friendly competition for top spot. Teams of 25 (including a steersman, a drummer, 20 paddlers and three alternates) race sprints in traditional Hong Kong-style boats.
With colorful cultural performances, educational booths, cuisine and fun games for kids and adults alike throughout the day, even non-paddlers will enjoy this outdoor fair.
