Join Saint Arnold Brewing Company and the Downtown District for the second annual Bayou Jamboree & Gumbo Showdown at historic Market Square. Instead of schlepping it to NOLA for the weekend, you can enjoy beer, gumbo, Cajun cuisine and lots of horn-blowing and Cajun two-stepping right in Houston.

Musical guests include the New Orleans Hustlers Brass Band and Houston legends Corey Ledet and His Zydeco Band. Teams will be facing off for the title of "Best gumbo in H-town" with public tastings from 3-5 pm and an awards ceremony immediately following. New this year will be neighborhood favorite Treebeards, with a pop-up booth at the park selling red beans and rice & shrimp etouffee. There will also be a crawfish booth and plenty of Saint Arnold beer on tap.
