Now in its second year, the 2014 Texas Christian Film Festival showcases a hand-selected group of current films with meaningful messages and uplifting stories. The free event features nine diverse feature films and multiple shorts.

The festival kicks off Feb. 13 with the short film It's Not About Me from award-winning Houston filmmaker Sondra Martin Hicks, followed by Linsanity, the Jeremy Lin story. The screening on Feb. 14 features includes I'm in Love with a Church Girl, starring Ja Rule. Other films include Seven Deadly Words, The Book of Daniel, Lost in the Dark, Adrift, An Indefinite Period of Time and Jackson's Run.
