The Epilepsy Foundation Texas-Houston hosts its annual Stroll for Epilepsy at the Houston Zoo. Registration will be held at 7:15 a.m. and kick off is at 7:45 a.m. This year, the foundation's goal is to grow the event to include more than 3,000 participants and to raise more than $230,000.
Epilepsy is the third most common neurological disorder behind stroke and Alzheimer's disease, affecting more than 140,000 individuals in the greater East Texas area.
