This year marks 36 years of the Houston LGBT Pride Celebration. With many contingents and exhibitors, multiple stages and attendance of more than 65,000 people, the festival (1-7 p.m.) has something for everyone. Most exhibitors and food vendors only accept cash, and ATMs are available on-site until 7 p.m. or at local businesses.

The parade (8:15 p.m.), held along Westheimer Road between Dunlavy and Montrose Boulevard, features more than 100 organizations and businesses celebrating the Houston LGBT community.
