The Memorial Day Lantern Launch at Towne Lake event was created last year as a way to honor fallen soldiers and loved ones who've passed away. Guests will gather at sunset to dedicate and release more than 500 paper lanterns into the community's lake.

Festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the lanterns will be released at approximately 8:30 p.m. Attendees will receive devotionals courtesy of Caldwell Companies.
