This year's event celebrates the life of Dr. John Stehlin, who devoted his life to cancer research and patient care. Highlighting the disco theme "Stayin' Alive!" the party will feature entertainment from Bee Gees tribute band Stayin' Alive and the Company Men, which has shared the stage with Natalie Cole, Chaka Khan, Jesse Campbell (The Voice) and LaToya London (American Idol).

A dinner, silent auction and three-item live auction are additional highlights of the evening.

Proceeds from The Friends of the Stehlin Foundation Gala will support research related to drug development for clinical trials; DSRCT, an insidious form of sarcoma cancer affecting children and young adults; and the Foundation's Scholarship Program for students pursuing careers in the health profession at the University of St. Thomas and other prominent colleges and universities.
