The French Cultures Festival celebrates French culture by bringing together those who feel connected or inspired by one of the world's richest and most influential cultures. In collaboration with the diplomatic representatives of Switzerland, Canada and Belgium, many universities, international schools, museums and local associations and businesses, the festival showcases French culture across Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas, running from March 8 to 25.
Celebrating the fifth anniversary of the festival, this concert is adding a new dimension to the jubilee. The three-hour kickoff celebration includes live music featuring French musicians, LYS, and Houston natives, the Tontons, along with The Revelers and Kirby-Sur-Seine on the Anheuser-Busch stage.
French crêpes, sandwiches will be available for purchase from Sweet Paris and Central Market. Cash bar, including French wine and beer, will be available outside the Lakehouse; credit cards accepted inside.
