2011 International Piano Festival

Now in its 25th season, the International Piano Festival brings together some of the world's leading virtuosos for a weekend of recitals and masterclasses. This year, the festival presents three recitals featuring Chinese-born Di Wu, English pianist Danny Driver and Moores School of Music's own Danny Driver.

Friday, February 4 - Di Wu's program includes works by Debussy, Granados, Schoenberg and Prokofiev.
UPDATE: Rescheduled for February 5 at 1:30 p.m due to inclement weather.
Tickets for the Di Wu Recital may be used at the door on Feb. 5 or exchanged for other International Piano Festival recitals. The International Piano Festival will continue as scheduled on Saturday, Feb. 5. For more ticket information, contact the MSM Box Office at 713-743-3313.

Saturday, February 5 - Danny Driver performs compositions by Mozart, Schumann, Debussy and York Bowen.

Sunday, February 6 - Closing the series, Abbey Simon classic repertoire includes works by Beethoven, Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Ravel.

TICKET INFO

$25 single ticket general admission, $15 students and seniors. $60 Recital series pass, $35 students and seniors.
