The 16th Annual Yachty Gras celebration "Chance of the Sea" includes a parade that begins in the Clear Creek Channel and features elaborately decorated yachts tossing beads and doubloons to revelers. The route includes a pass of Kemah Boardwalk.

The Bay Area Houston cities of Kemah, Seabrook and Clear Lake Shores have taken part in this festivity since its inception in 1999. Yachty Gras is organized by community volunteers to raise funds for local charities and promote boating tourism in the Bay Area. The proceeds of this year's event will benefit the Seabrook Sea Scouts, a division of the Boy Scouts of America dedicated to teaching boating preparedness.
