Arriving guests will be greeted by Brazilian drummers and escorted to dinner by Carnavale dancers. The evening will include a tango dance performance, music by the salsa and merengue band Grupo Kache, a Havana cigar roller and a themed casino.
The auctions will offer one-of-a-kind items that include a one week stay in a private home in Martha's Vineyard, a one week stay in a private home in Oslo, Norway, a one week stay in a private home in Telluride, Colo., an Italian-made aventurine and silver rosary blessed by Pope Francis, and a private concert for 20 by Grammy-winning soprano Ana Maria Martinez — among others.
Gala proceeds help to provide needs-based tuition assistance, faculty continuing education, classroom assistance and technology needs for St. Anne Catholic School.
