Every December, Goldesberry Gallery showcase high quality, artist-made jewelry. This year's edition includes seven new artists along with a lot of favorites who return every year. The exhibition explores tradition and new directions in artist selection, materials used, and topics addressed. The show reveals jewelry as an expressive medium, capable not only of adornment and beauty, but negotiation with the body and that great theme of modern art: self-referential dialogue with its own media.  The show opens Dec. 4 from 6-8 p.m. and runs through Jan. 8.
