Josh Frank will read from his book, Giraffes on Horseback Salad, followed by a screening of the Marx Brothers movie, A Night At The Opera. Books will be provided by Brazos Bookstore for sale on site.

In A Night At The Opera, the Marx Brothers run amuck in the world of opera when Otis B. Driftwood (Groucho Marx) meets aspiring singer Ricardo (Allan Jones), who is determined to win the love of fellow performer Rosa (Kitty Carlisle). Aided by Fiorello (Chico Marx) and Tomasso (Harpo Marx), Otis attempts to unite the young couple, but faces opposition from the preening star Lassparri (Walter Woolf King), who also has his sights on Rosa. Traveling from Italy to New York, Otis and friends rally to try and win the day.

Frank is a writer, producer, director and composer. He's the author of Fool the World: The Oral History of a Band Called Pixies; In Heaven Everything Is Fine; and co-author of the illustrated novel The Good Inn. He built, owns, and operates the Blue Starlite Mini-Urban Drive-In Movie Theatre in Austin.
