14 Pews will hold a fundraiser for their first Community Outreach Project, Dialogues on Grace. 

Inspired by the anti-Muslim sentiment in the United States, 14 Pews is producing Dialogues on Grace, a 75-minute documentary theater play. Source material for this insightful theatrical production comes from news articles and interviews of over 50 Houstonians of all faiths, asking their views on grace; what it means, what it looks like, could one have grace without subscribing to a religion, and an example of grace.In addition, it will also cover topics about the anti-Muslim sentiment; what it means, what it looks like, and examples of this very current issue.

The goal of Dialogues on Grace is to celebrate our similarities, while recognizing and accepting our differences. Like most documentary theater, Dialogues on Grace is attempting to bridge art and politics while being a catalyst for social change.

Dialogues on Grace will be performed with a live music accompaniment September 10 through October 4. To ensure that the play will be seen by a wide audience, the show will be performed at numerous locations around Houston.
