Houston Arboretum & Nature Center
The 13th annual ArBOOretum is a festival for little goblins and ghouls and their parents. Activities include decorating pumpkins, hay rides through the forest, live owls and reptiles, a baby animal petting zoo, pony rides, puppet shows and a hay maze. Costumes are encouraged for both kids and parents.
Members enjoy early admission from 10 a.m. to noon, after which the event is open to the public through 5 p.m.
