The Impact A Hero weekend brings severely wounded post combat 9/11 combat veterans and their families together with contributors and supporters for a weekend of fun and fundraising that includes the 11th Annual 5K Walk, Run and Wheel race. The 5K begins at 7:30 a.m. and a children's 1K starts at 8:30 a.m.
Activities at the event include meeting Toro and the Houston Texans Cheerleaders, Texans' autographs and a special area for kids that features inflatables, a rock climbing wall and a train ride.
