An American Tail, the first animated feature presented by Steven Spielberg, tells the story of Fievel Mousekewitz and his Russian-Jewish mouse family's escape from their homeland in the late 1800s. Boarding a boat headed for America, Fievel gets separated from his mom and dad. To make matters worse, upon arriving in New York City, much to his horror, Fievel learns that there are cats in America, too.
Forced to navigate the streets of New York all alone, Fievel meets his share of friendly and hostile mice, and even befriends one of the dreaded cats. Will Fievel save the day and reunite with his family?
Recommended for ages 4 and up. Arts and crafts and a snack will be offered after the movie.
