Impact the Hero provides ongoing emotional support and helps build lasting relationships by connecting injured veterans, families, and caregivers to one another through events and mentorship. They work closely with other nonprofits that can provide resources in a specific area of need or geographical location sponsoring "scholarships" that allow veterans to attend free of charge and get the help they need at that point in their life.

A full roster of yearly events is planned: Vettes for Vets; the inaugural crawfish boil in Spring; 16th annual Impact A Hero 10K, 5K, and Kids K at Constellation Field; 16th annual Hall of Fame Gala in November; the 2nd annual Freedom Ride; 5th annual Hero's Highway Ride, and 16th annual Impact a Hero golf tournament.
