Helping a Hero empowers severely wounded veterans, primarily by partnering with the wounded hero to provide specially adapted homes to reintegrate them into their community. They also provide additional support programs such as marriage retreats, caregiver retreats, recreational activities, emotional support, and financial support.
Donations are always appreciated, and the public is encouraged to attend the group's Welcome Home and Groundbreaking ceremonies.
At the Helping A Hero National Gala, you can expect celebrity guest speakers and donor opportunities throughout the night. The National Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon is a way to show gratitude toward the group's volunteers.
