SEARCH's mission is to provide hope, create opportunity, and transform lives. We bring our mission to life every day by connecting men, women, and children not only with housing but also with the targeted resources and support they need to increase their income, improve their health, remain stably housed, and regain community and self-sufficiency.

Picnic in the Park is a FUN outdoor party with great food, great music, and great people – all for a great cause.  Through this fall event, we plan to raise more than $700,000, host 1,000 guests, and feature the tasty delights of over 15 local restaurants.

Each spring, SEARCH hosts the Annual Luncheon for a Houston without Homelessness. Enjoy lunch and dessert while celebrating the year’s accomplishments and learning more about upcoming plans with over 700 fellow guests who contribute more than $560,000.

The funds raised from these events help more individuals and families move from the streets into jobs and safe, stable homes, and your investment in SEARCH's House of Tiny Treasures preschool will prepare the children for success in school and in life.

Membership in SEARCH's Young Professionals Group (SEARCH YPG) begins at $50 a year. This organization brings together young and passionate SEARCH supporters who gather through various YPG events like happy hours and group volunteer opportunities. Members focus on spending time volunteering and socializing with other young professionals in Houston who want to make a difference and get involved in ending homelessness in the city.
