The Junior League of Houston, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Its committed corps of nearly 5,000 trained volunteers participate in a comprehensive, hands-on training and education program focused on promoting leadership skills and addressing community issues. This is accomplished through the League’s long-term involvement with established organizations, such as the Houston Food Bank and Star of Hope, that directly impact the Houston community.
Donations to the League Legends Annual Fund provide necessary financial support for the Junior League’s building preservation, community efforts, and operating expenses. By supporting these financial pillars, your contribution enables the Junior League to continue its legacy of community outreach and volunteer initiatives.
The Junior League of Houston's Annual Charity Ball is a black tie affair, celebrating the beauty in the lives it touches both within the League’s membership and throughout the community. Guests begin the evening by enjoying cocktails while browsing silent auction items, then make their way to the ballroom to enjoy a delectable dinner along with the live auction and an exciting show. The French-inspired fête continues into the night as guests are invited to stay and enjoy drinks, dessert, and dancing.
