Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston brings people of diverse faith traditions together for dialogue, collaboration, and service. Its programs include Meals on Wheels, aniMeals, Refugee Services, Volunteer Houston, and Interfaith Relations and Community Partnerships.

The strength of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston lies in the selfless contributions made by its dedicated corps of volunteers. Each year, more than 4,000 volunteers lend their time and talents toward helping refugees and homebound seniors who turn to IM for help.

Best Friends Brunch raises money to feed 1,200 dogs and cats of Meals on Wheels clients. Tapestry Gala raises money for Meals on Wheels, Refugee Services, Volunteer Houston and Interfaith Relations and Community Partnerships. IMpulse young professionals group is dedicated to embracing diversity and service. Operation IMpact distributes emergency storm meals for 4,000 Meals on Wheels seniors. Thanksgiving Volunteer Day recruits volunteers to distribute Thanksgiving dinner to 4,000 Meals on Wheels seniors. The Dialogue Project introduces people to new religions and people through the Dinner Dialogue and Faith in Our City programs. Eid for Refugees has volunteers assemble welcome packages for new refugees in the Houston area.
