The ReStores are the home improvement stores and donation centers of Houston Habitat for Humanity, and sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, appliances, flooring, cabinetry, and more at a fraction of the retail price.
Profits generated from the ReStores support Houston Habitat’s mission to build and improve the places Houstonians call home. When you purchase from or donate to the ReStore, you are changing lives by making affordable housing a reality for Houston families. You are also keeping perfectly usable items from needlessly going to waste in a landfill.
The third annual Building a Dream luncheon will be held on October 22, celebrating another year of strengthening communities in Houston through decent, safe, and affordable housing. Majora Carter, an urban revitalization strategist, will be the guest speaker.
The Veterans Build event also kicks off on November 11.
