The mission of The Rose is to save lives through quality breast health services, advocacy, and access to care for all. The Rose takes care of women who are both insured and uninsured, helping them to receive quality breast health care regardless of their ability to pay.
There are several ways to get involved. One is to donate — all the money that is donated to The Rose goes directly to help women who otherwise would not be able to afford a possible life-saving mammogram.
Another way to get involved is to volunteer at one of The Rose's many signature events or volunteer at one of its two clinics. For more information about volunteering, you can email volunteer@therose.org.
The Rose has four signature annual events:
- Annual Shrimp Boil in the summer, the group's biggest and longest-running fundraiser
- Hats & Henna High Tea in September
- The Rose Takes Center Stage in October
- Annual A Time To Care Luncheon in March
