Since its founding in 1946, The Council on Recovery has been at the forefront of helping individuals and families whose lives have been affected by alcoholism, drug addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. As these afflictions continue to affect society, relentless efforts with prevention, education, treatment, and recovery are helping reverse the trend these problems have created for the community.

The Council on Recovery offers a variety of volunteer opportunities with flexible schedules and assignments that fit your skill set and interests. Anyone who wants to make a difference in the lives of those affected by addiction is welcome. For more information on volunteering, click here.

In addition to volunteering, you can help by donating. Every donation, large or small, helps achieve the mission to keep the community healthy, productive and safe by providing services and information to all who may be adversely affected by alcohol, drugs, and related issues.

The Council on Recovery hosts the Annual Spring Luncheon, which is a speaker series featuring a different famous speaker each year who talks about the process of recovery.
