Since 1983, The Parish School has educated children who have communication delays and learning differences, empowering them with the tools to succeed.
The Parish School depends on volunteers — whether parents, alumni, high school and college students, or community organizations — for the success of events and programs. There are a number of ways for families and friends to get involved throughout the year. For info, email advancement@parishschool.org or head here.
The Giving Voice to Children luncheon is held in the fall.
The 2019 annual gala will be held on on January 25 at The Ballroom at Bayou Place.
The Parish School also offers free adult education sessions that are open to the public, as they believe in nurturing a love of lifelong learning not only in their students, but also in each other and the community. They believe that educating parents is essential to the growth and development of every child. Parents, grandparents, alumni, community members, and professionals are welcome at the daytime and evening sessions (free childcare for ages 2 and up is provided with RSVP for most evening sessions). Please RSVP online here.
