The nationally renowned Center for Hearing and Speech is the most comprehensive resource for pediatric hearing loss in Texas, and the only facility in the region that offers health services and spoken language education for children with hearing loss under one roof. Children from more than 36 counties and all socioeconomic levels come to the center, where no child is turned away regardless of their family's ability to pay.
Volunteers are always appreciated for a variety of events and field trips.
The Sound & Soul Gala typically sees over 500 guests for an evening filled with cocktails, live and silent auctions, a seated dinner, and lots of dancing to live music. There is also an annual Clay Shoot that's a great way to enjoy some camaraderie and friendly competition while supporting a local children's organization.
