Emerge empowers and prepares high-performing students from Houston's underserved communities to attend and graduate from selective colleges and universities across the nation.
There are several ways to get involved with Emerge:
- Host a fundraiser to support students and their transition to college
- Attend the annual Build the Village luncheon on February 13, 2019
- Participate in the annual Mock Interview Day, which prepares rising senior high school fellows for college and internship interviews
- Host a Houston Huddle, which offers an optimal opportunity for Emerge college scholars to connect with alums from selective colleges and institutions across the nation
- Apply to become a mentor for an Emerge rising high school senior fellow
The annual Build the Village luncheon will be held at the River Oaks Country Club on February 13, 2019.
