Books Between Kids serves Houston's at-risk children by providing them with books to build their own at-home libraries. In six years, over 1,308,000 books have been given new homes with children living in 33 ZIP codes across Houston.
The group accepts gently used or new children's books appropriate for pre-k to 5th grade readers. Donate books of your own or host a book drive at your school or place of work.

The annual fundraiser Book Bash is a fun, casual event held at Armadillo Palace in November. The group also hosts the Book Send-Off Celebration, an event held at the warehouse every April before the majority of the books get shipped out to the book celebrations where the children select their books to keep.
