Wesley Community Center invests in the potential of individuals and creates opportunities to strengthen families and build neighborhoods. For 115 years, Wesley has helped thousands of our Houston neighbors with early childhood education, after-school care, emergency food, job skills training, financial coaching, and senior activities. Gifts from the community help hard-working individuals and families become more self-sufficient and achieve their dreams.
Wesley Community Center utilizes thousands of volunteers each year to help with the food pantry and garden, senior citizen's program, job skills training, beautification projects, and special events. They also have a volunteer board of directors and several committees.
Donations are always gratefully received to ensure the programs can reach all who need them.
Every fall, the organization hosts the Spirit of Helping luncheon to raise money for its programs. In the early spring, they host the Hope In the Heart, an evening party with a silent auction.
