The Tourette Association of America – Texas Chapter has supported Texans' medical, educational, and social needs through vital and unduplicated programs and services for over 32 years. All programs and services are free to children and families.

Until a cure for Tourette’s syndrome is found, Tourette Texas will work diligently to provide medical assistance and scholarships; offer social activities and events for children, adults, and siblings; educate the public and professionals for heightened awareness, sensitivity, and understanding of the disorder; provide professional “whole person” consulting; and advocate for an improved quality of life for its clients.

Cash donations, donations of items for event auctions, and participation at fundraising events are all appreciated.

Targets for Tourettes is a sporting clay shoot and dinner dance, while an annual gala is held in late spring (for 2021 it's May 27 at Houston Country Club). There is also the annual Tee-Off for Tourettes golfing event and the annual camping weekend in the fall, with free tuition free for Texas kids with a primary diagnosis of TS.
