The mission of Kids' Meals is to end childhood hunger in Houston by delivering free, healthy meals year-round to the doorsteps of Houston's hungriest preschool-aged children, and through collaboration provide their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty. It is the only program of its kind in the nation.
Volunteer to make sandwiches — it's easy. You can also decorate brown bags and collect juice boxes, resealable bags, or canned goods. You can also make meals at your own location through the Offsite Lunch Pack Program.
Every November, the organization's annual Harvest Luncheon draws more than 1,000 to the Marriott Marquis to raise critical funds for the organization.
