Heroes for Children is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization that advocates for and provides financial and social assistance to families with children (0-22 years of age) battling cancer.
Since 2004, Heroes for Children has provided $6.5 million to over 6,600 Texas families in need through its financial and social assistance programs. There is no other organization that provides direct and immediate assistance to families with such ease when it comes to restoring normalcy and bringing comfort through each family’s journey.
Whether it is chairing an event, serving on a committee, or simply volunteering at an event, Heroes for Children needs your help.
Heroes for Children Young Leaders: A volunteer board for teens in grades 9-12.
Monthly giving: A monthly gift lets you stand with families in their greatest time of need as their child battles cancer by helping wherever support is needed most, including rent, groceries, hospital transportation, prescriptions, and assistance with funeral expenses when needed.
The annual Heroes and Handbags event is hosted in Dallas and Houston each year.
