Child Advocates, Inc. mobilizes court-appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse. They speak up for abused children who are lost in the system and guide them into safe environments where they can thrive.

Become a court-appointed advocate, whose main job is to provide the court with recommendations about where the children they represent should live on a permanent basis. Throughout the case, volunteers maintain contact with everyone involved in the children's lives, from foster parents, biological parents, and therapists to Child Protective Services caseworkers and attorneys appointed by the court.

They make sure the children are receiving the medical and psychological help they need, and they meet with teachers and principals to help the children thrive in school. Most importantly, they serve as a 'constant' person for the children to count on during this tumultuous time. Essentially, volunteers do whatever it takes to ensure that the needs of the children are being met while they are in care.

Child Advocates' largest annual fundraiser is the Pull for Kids Classic, which includes a daytime sporting clays tournament for both individual and corporate teams at the American Shooting Centers. The "shoot" includes great food, games, and fun giveaways. The following evening there's a signature evening party with dinner, dancing, and hundreds of live and silent auction items in a unique and casual atmosphere.

The Angels of Hope luncheon is held in December and features a salute to an honoree and a fashion presentation by Neiman Marcus Galleria, showing off couture and ready-to-wear fashion from a variety of designers.
