Amaanah empowers women and youth who are "new Americans" (refugees, asylum seekers, victims of human trafficking) to become productive members of society.
Ways to help including volunteering, bringing awareness to the organization, and attending an event. The group is always seeking persons with HR, strategy, sales, IT, and marketing backgrounds to serve on the advisory board.
Rock the Block: Help package thousands of grocery items and deliver it to 500-700 families in Houston on the same day.
Rays of Change benefit dinner: More than 500 attend raise money for Amaanah's services at this annual event.
