As a 501(c)(3) organization, The Pavilion strives to provide the performing arts and educational outreach programs to The Woodlands community and the Greater Houston area. The Pavilion's main focus is fulfilling the four pillars of its core purpose: education, training, new audiences, and diverse arts.

They provides educational programs about the performing arts, are a catalyst for new audiences, offer training and performance opportunities for young artists, present a diverse offering of performing arts, and enhance appreciation for the arts.

The Pavilion Partners is the official volunteer organization of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Launched in 1998, Partners offers opportunities for those who share a love for the performing arts to give back, support the Pavilion, and network with others who have similar interests.

With numerous educational outreach programs that enrich the lives of thousands of people each year, the Pavilion plays an essential role in making the performing arts accessible to the community. Partners is an integral part of making these programs happen, with hundreds of members serving as volunteers at events throughout the year.

There are many different ways to be a member of Partners. Many volunteers join solely by making a financial contribution to the Pavilion. Others choose to serve on committees to help with events and fundraisers. Still others volunteer at the various events at the Pavilion, including both performing arts events and contemporary concerts.

The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion hosts many free, family-friendly events that all members of the family can enjoy, as well as contemporary acts by some of the biggest artists touring right now. Proceeds from these concerts, along with generous donations from corporations and individuals, are then used to provide guests the opportunity to be exposed to more classical forms of entertainment.

These donations afford the ability to offer free mezzanine and lawn seating for all Houston Symphony, Houston Grand Opera, and Houston Ballet performances, as well as free seating at Star-Spangled Salute, Texas Music Festival Orchestra, and Holly Jolly Jingle, making the arts accessible to everyone.

By making a gift at The Pavilion Partners Fund, you will automatically become a member of The Pavilion Partners. Partners have the ability to choose their membership level: individual ($50), couple ($100), silver ($250), gold ($500), and platinum ($1,000).
