The 411: Houstonians mixed and mingled with entertainers from both the big and small screens at the fourth annual Steele Red Carpet Party, presided by master of ceremonies, Fox 26 feature reporter Ruben Dominguez.
Organized by Houston PR guru and event namesake Karen Steele, the soiree highlights the achievements of actors, filmmakers and musicians to highlight Houston's potential as a film center.
The lineup included Landon Gimenez(ABC's Resurrection), Shelton Jolivette (ABC's American Crime), Madison Dellamea (CW's The Messengers), Mykle McCoslin (ABC's The Astronauts Wives Club), Akili McDowell (The Astronauts Wives Club) and Deneen Tylers (of HBO's Treme and feature films: Dallas Buyers Club and 12 Years A Slave).
From the red carpet to a blowout after-party, the celebration continued at the home of Houston real estate whiz Bill Baldwin where guests enjoyed food and libations by El Meson, Cru Wine Bar, Karbach and MillerCoors.
All proceeds from the event benefited the Bicycle Museum (whose goal is to display collections of antique and classic bicycles as well as exhibiting cycling related memorabilia).
