45 sexy models wow sellout crowd at a River Oaks home: It's good to be a student designer
What: "Home Sweet Home" fashion fundraiser for SEARCH Homeless Services' House of Tiny Treasurers.
Where: The River Oaks home of Mary and Tony Gracely.
The 411: Founder and chair Sloane Adrogué Gustafson raised more than $70,000 for the non-profit through her Home Sweet Home fashion show featuring 10 student designers from area schools and colleges. Joining her as co-chair was Claire Dorfman. Serving as honorary chairs were Sofia Adrogué and Laurie Dorfman. Forty-five models joined the fashion parade that was witnessed by a sellout gathering of 300.
Who: The fashion forward crowd included Kay King, Sten Gustafson, Terri Havens, Kylie and James Casey, Caroline Baker, Mary Jane Fortin, Jeff Shell, Thao Costis, Peter Remington and Mitzi Bartlett and Heidi Duty, who are part of the House of Tiny treasures leadership team.
