With a little help from his friend, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, singer/rapper Flo Rida brought down the house at Saturday night’s Playboy and TAO Super Bowl bash at downtown’s Spire Nightclub, the new club in the former First Church of Christ building.
Jackson showed his support, dancing and singing along onstage, although unmiked, as Flo Rida performed several hit songs during his 45-minute set including "My House," "Zillionaire," and "Apple Bottom Jeans."
The men's lifestyle and entertainment magazine and the TAO Group, a restaurant and nightlife group with over 20 venues worldwide, joined together to host the super-sexy soiree, sponsored by Indian Motorcycle and Effen Vodka (Jackson is in investor in the vodka company).
What’s a Playboy party without a few bunnies? Playmates Monica Sims, Hiromi Oshima, Summer Altice and Heather Rae Young donned iconic Playboy outfits — satin leotards, bow-ties, and bunny ears and tails — as they mingled with party-goers and posed for photos on V-twin motorcycles by Indian Motorcycle, which adorned the red carpet and the stage serving as both decor and photo props.
Cocktail waitresses dressed in bunny attire served drinks throughout the evening and kicked off the night by greeting guests via a receiving line in the interior entryway.
Killer beats by DJ’s from Tao kept the party going until the wee hours of the morning, even after the alcohol stopped flowing, with the fun coming to end at around 6 am.
