The Levy Park Conservancy presents a Veterans Day celebration with food and beverages and activities for children and adults alike. Texas-based celebrity chef Tim Love (who will open his flagship restaurant Woodshed at Levy Park in 2018) and his team are providing food for the entire weekend at the park.

Live musical entertainment from Houston Blues Society bands kicks off at 12:30 pm with James and the Classix, playing until 3 pm. The Keisha Pratt Band comes on from 3:15-5:30 pm. The Bryan Shayne Band will provide a country music vibe from 6-8 pm.

Guests are invited to come out earlier in the day to enjoy a good workout with Boot Camp at 8:30 am and then yoga at 10 am. People can always enjoy other park amenities, including imagination playground blocks, arts and games carts, cornhole, children’s play area, dog parks, ping pong, and more.

Some of the delicious food provided by Tim Love includes brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, pork bahn mi tacos, kimchi dog, “kick ass” nachos, hot dogs, crispy Brussels sprouts and a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
