Galveston Arts Center (GAC) continues its lecture series, Conversations @ The Center, featuring well-known Houston photography curator, Anne Wilkes Tucker. Ms. Tucker’s presentation, Art in the Digital Age:  Another Tool, a Diversion, Who Decides? addresses the roles that changing technology has had on contemporary photography. Audience questions and discussion will follow.

Conversations @ The Center is an informal lecture series that provides insight into the artistic process and engages audiences in dialogue about visual art. The series features artists and other arts professionals who speak about their work and discuss timely issues in contemporary art. The theme for the 2017 series, Intersections: Art, Science and Technology, aims to highlight the synergistic link between creative and scientific ideas, and explore some of the ways professional and artistic practices exist at the intersections of these fields.
