The latest hot Apple rumor: iPad 2 to include the Clueless clothes-matchingprogram
According to Digitimes.com, Foxconn Electronics' plants in Shenzhen, China have been notified to ship Apple's iPad 2 within the next 100 days. This from Taiwan-based component fabricators sources. Foxconn declined to comment.
Although the original plans called for the iPad 2 to ship in January, prolonged development of the firmware set it back to at least the close of February. In the first nine months of 2010, Apple sold 7.5 million iPads, and has recently added South Korea and Latin America to its host of retailers. Ultimately, we can expect to be able to purchase the iPad 2 in April.
Enough facts? Let's get to the juicy rumors: Reuters reports that anonymous tipsters revealed the new model will boast cameras on the front and rear, as well as a slimmer, lighter body with a higher-resolution display. Such improvements are to be expected of subsequent models.
Add an espresso maker, Easy Bake Oven and Tamagotchi app — and then call me. Pre-installed James Franco wallpapers and that clothes-matching computer program Cher Horowitz had in Clueless would also be appreciated.
