The Houston Symphony launched the fall social season with an opening night gala that rocked the house.

Scott and Judy Nyquist chaired the successful evening. Because of the late hour, everyone was ready to eat. Guests happily dined on an al fresco supper prepard by Jackson & Co. The light feast included sliced tenderloin of prime Angus beef,, lump Gulf crab parfait, provencal chicken salad and a special dessert called "Planetary Pear Perfection."
